Gramophone: Extraordinary loudspeakers
The design team from Ergonomidesign, John Grieves, Jonas Dolk and Erik Wahlin, have developed the extreme design behind Gramophone, an eye-catching Hi-Fi loudspeaker. It is handmade in Sweden of carbon fibre and stainless steel. The brief was to bring more intriguing, avant-garde and sensual products to the market without compromising with sound or picture quality. The designers wanted to find an esthetical and functional balance, to give the speakers the right expression and sensation. Elbow Crutch: Design research made it possible to walk again
The elbow crutch "Ingrid" was put in production in 2008 by Popab - more than 20 years after the end of the project, and is still unique. This case shows how thorough research has the potential to generate innovations that last over time. In the 1970s it was not unusual for people to wrap their cane handles in old socks to ease the pain in their hands. The elbow crutch is a result of extensive research where Ergonomidesign studied how people actually used their crutches. It turned out that there was a need for a completely new type of crutch for people with a slow and cautious gait pattern. Read more >

Kiss in a Tube by Lypsyl: Bringing Beauty to the Brand
Kiss in a Tube is a new series of lip gloss addressing young girls. Lypsyl is known as a Norwegian, traditional lip balm.
Ergonomidesign got a commission from Lilleborg, a leading Norwegian brand building manufacturer of products for personal care, to bring more beauty and glamour to their brand.
Since launch in February 2008 Kiss in a Tube has sold above all expectations. It was sold out even before the advertising campaign started. And this, at the same time as the price increased with 300%.

The Koenigsegg CC: faster than a speeding bullet?
The supercar with the north European personality is the brainchild of Swedish entrepreneur Christian von Koenigsegg. Koeningsegg gave design partner Ergonomidesign a simple brief: speed. The result was the fastest series production car in the world allowed on ordinary roads. The Guinness Book of World Records hailed the Koenigsegg “the world’s most powerful production car”. The design philosophy is unmistakably dynamic and organic. And the key to the car’s unrivalled aerodynamics.

Doro Care Electronics: Keeping Us Connected
As we get older, there’s no denying it gets more difficult to do the things we enjoy or are used to doing. Even simple tasks like dialling a phone number or using the TV remote control – little things that bring us pleasure and keep us connected with people we depend on and enjoy being with.

Ergonomidesign’s Gecco:
Watching Out for Winter Walkers
Every year some 100,000 pedestrians in Northern Europe suffer injuries due to slipping in snowy or icy conditions. Ergonomidesign has developed a shoe concept called Gecco with integrated anti-skid studs in the sole.
Users can easily change the shoe’s status from active (exposed studs) to passive (hidden studs) without bending down or using their hands. The market potential is huge; over 25 million people live in Scandinavia alone.

OG Invent’s Snapalarm: Restyling Smoke Detectors
Smoke detectors work well but are cumbersome to install and often quite ugly. OG Invent developed Snapalarm, a user-friendly and attractive smoke detector that can be easily attached to the cord of a pendant lamp.
The aim is to encourage the homeowner to install several detectors, preferably one in each room, to increase security. In 2005, OG Invent sold 25,000 units in thirteen countries. The sales target for 2006 is 150,000 units.
