Helping Hands: Prototyping the Future of Integrated Health Care

After over 40 years of pioneering work in the Life Science industry, Ergonomidesign have put together their take on the future for the Health Care industry. The story comprises not only scenarios and a clear picture of the eco-system in which Life Science might exist in 2015 - but the designers have gone as far as prototyping glimpses of how interaction might occur with doctors and other medical professionals and services. SAS – Design thinking in business strategies

The transportation industry is facing fierce competition and exacting customer demands. Ergonomidesign was faced with a huge challenge – to support the development of Scandinavian Airlines’ future brand and service strategy. Ergonomidesign worked with the future service and product offers for SAS using our innovation management methods and skills. We developed a product and service platform that brought the business strategy to life and thereby achieved a successful implementation. Ejendals Tegera: Differentiating Work Gloves

Ejendals asked Ergonomidesign to review the entire product line for protective gloves for professional users. This market segment is under severe price pressure and existing products are typically undifferentiated.

 

Ergonomidesign created three distinct product groups to create greater differentiation and highlight key product benefits. Since the relaunch of the Tegera brand in 2005, Ejendals has sold over 500.000 pairs of gloves.

Optimus: Future-Proofing Outdoor Cooking

Sweden-based Optimus is one of the world’s oldest outdoor stove companies. In 2005, Optimus collaborated with Ergonomidesign to develop a strategic platform, revamp the visual identity and redesign existing products.

 

The outcome is a coherent and future-proof product range that looks and feels distinctly different in a very competitive marketplace. The first line of redesigned outdoor cooking products was launched in March 2006.
